Clipped Signature - Gunther Rall.

With 275 victories, he is the third-highest scoring combat Ace in history, despite significant hospitalisation in the war. Flying with JG52 in the Battle of Britain, his score grew rapidly after transferring to the Eastern Front. He flew Me109s, Fw190s and Me262s, and stayed in the Air Force post-war. He died in 2009.

An He111 pilot, he flew 62 missions during the Spanish Civil War, then during the aerial battles in Poland, France and Britain, becoming the first Luftwaffe bomber pilot to reach 100 missions. His 162nd missions was his last though - damaged by naval anti-aircraft fire, a Hurricane finished his aircraft off and he bailed out and was imprisoned for the remainder of the war. He died in 2009.
