1998 Le Mans by Graham Turner. Winners of the 1998 Le Mans 24 Hours, the Porsche 911 GT1-98 of McNish, Ortelli and Aiello powers out of the second chicane and on down the Mulsanne straight. |
1971 Le Mans by Graham Turner. The winning Porsche 917K of Helmut Marko and Gijs van Lennep flashes through the Mulsanne kink ahead of the Siffert/Bell long-tailed 917. The fastest cars attained over 230mph on the Mulsanne straight in this year, and the winning car took victory at a record average speed of 138.19 mph over the 24 hours. |
