Seven Days and Seven Nights by Keith Woodcock. In August 1952 at the Montlhery circuit on France a Jaguar XK120 registration LWK707 became the first car ever to average over 100 mph for a week. During this marathon event, three world records and five class records were broken. The team was managed by Desmond Scannell and Mortimer Morris-Goodall. The painting depicts Stirling Moss leaving the pits after a routine tyre change. |
Jaguar TWR XJS by Keith Woodcock. The 1984 European Touring Car Championships were dominated by the TWR Jaguars. Seven outright win including two 1-2-3s, the Spa 24 Hours and the Drivers Championship. The painting depicts the TWR XJS of Chuck Nicholson on its way to victory at the Donington 500km race in April 1984. |
E-Type Victory Swansong by Keith Woodcock E-Type Victory Swansong shows the Group 44, Inc. Jaguar V-12 E-Type, driven by Bob Tullius breaking away from the Corvettes and the Porsches at Road Atlanta on the 2nd November 1975. Tullius went on to win the race convincingly to secure the SCCA National Drivers title having achieved 12 wins from 17 starts. |
Jaguar XJ12C by Keith Woodcock. This painting depicts the Broadspeed Big Cats finest hour, 2nd place for Andy Rouse and Derek Bell in the 4 hour race at the Nurburgring in 1977, the best result achieved by the XJ12C in the European Touring Championships. |
1957 Le Mans by Graham Turner. In 1957, Jaguar D-Types filled the top four places at Le Mans and scored the third successive victory for the marque in the classic 24-hour race. Here, the winning Ecurie Ecosse entry, driven by Ron Flockhart and Ivor Bueb, accelerates out of Tertre Rouge and onto the Mulsanne straight. |
Thundering Elegance by Keith Woodcock Thundering Elegance portrays Bob Tullius in his Group 44, Inc. V-12 XJS celebrating winning he Copa Mexico Trans Am at the Ricardo Rodriguez Autodrome on the 5th November 1978. This win secured the Constructors Trans Am title, the first constructors title ever won by a factory supported Jaguar. This was added to the Drivers Championship secured by Tullius earlier in the season. |
E-Type at Tertre Rouge by Keith Woodcock. For the 1962 Le Mans 24 hour race, Jaguar prepared an E-Type for Briggs Cunningham. At the track, it transpired that Roy Salvadori was too tall for the Birdcage Maseratis he had planned to drive, he therefore partnered Briggs Cunningham in the E-Type to bring her home in a memorable 4th place overall, 3rd in class and 3rd in the GT category at an average speed of 107.9 mph. The painting depicts the E-Type leading a Ferrari through Tertre Rouge. |
1953 Le Mans by Graham Turner. Tony Rolt, driving the Jaguar C-type he and Duncan Hamilton took to victory in the 1953 Le Mans 24 Hour race, leads the Ascari/Villoresi Ferrari and the Moss/Walker Jaguar. |
1955 Dundrod TT by Graham Turner. Mike Hawthorn accelerates away from the hairpin in the D-type Jaguar, during his tremendous battle with the two Mercedes of Fangio and Moss, the eventual winner. |
Jaguar at Le Mans by Graham Bosworth. A celebration of the 50th anniversary of Jaguars first appearance at Le Mans in June 1950, when three privately owned XK120s competed. The majority of models that have racewd over the years are depicted including all the winning cars. Jaguar won Le Mans on seven occasions : C Type - 1951 and 1953, D Type - 1955, 1956 and 1957, XJR9 - 1988, XJR12 - 1990. |
Top Cat by Graham Bosworth. TWR Jaguar XJR 9LM - Winner of the 1988 Le Mans. The car in this image is shown at maximum speed on the Mulsanne Straight (240mph) Drivers: Jan Lammers, Johnny Dumfries and Andy Wallace. This was the first win for Jaguar since 1957. Previous victories at Le Mans were in 1951 and 1953 with C types and in 1955, 1956 and 1957 with D types. Jaguar also won Le Mans in 1990 with the XJR 12LM. |

Jaguar's Return to Le Mans by Keith Woodcock. Return to Le Mans depicts the Group 44, Inc. Jaguar XJR-5 V-12 leading the Le Mans 24 hour race in June 1984. The return of the factory supported Jaguars dominated the headlines leading up to the race. The cars were designed by Lee Dykstra and driven by Bob Tullius, Brian Redman and Doc Bundy in the number 44 car and John Watson, Adam Adamowicz and Ballot Lena in the number 40 car. |
