Gordon Frickers Naval Art

Gordon Frickers, English maritime Artist. Gordon was born in Beckenham, Kent in 1949 and spent his later education studying at the Maidstone College of Fine Art and also the Medway College studying Visual Communication, Photography for advertising & media, before going to the Falmouth Technical College: Ship & Boat Building. Gordon's love of the sea and sailing can been seen in his superb paintings. He has spent over 30 years painting marine subjects and is also a master shipwright and marine and art historian. Gordon Frickers has exhibited extensively around the world including at Buckingham palace, London international boat show, Royal Society of Marine Artists and Maison de la Fontaine, City of Brest among many others. We feel honoured to offer some of his art work which was published some time ago as very few of these marine art prints are still available.
